Refugee Week is a time to celebrate the resilience and courage of refugees around the world. Despite facing unimaginable challenges, they continue to persevere and contribute to our communities. Let's take this moment to recognize and honor them.

Summer is the perfect time for fresh, healthy salads! I'm loving this fattoush recipe with crispy pita chips, tangy sumac, and loads of veggies.
Who else is a fan of this Middle Eastern classic? 🥗☀️

I advise everyone to volunteer with Plateful Cafe to practice their hobby in the field of food and thus contribute to the exchange of cultures and improve there mental health.”❤️
Mental Health week officially ended last Sunday, so we thought today we would share a testimony from one of our chefs - Waed. ❤️

Through the Voluntary work with Plateful Cafe my knowledge has increased by meeting kind and expert people especially those in charge of it, moreover meeting friends and getting to know new people of different nationalities.
Working with Platefull coffee helped me to overcome some of these difficulties by spending a little time practicing my hobbies in translation / interpreting and cooking, especially when preparing dishes from our country of origin ,and sharing them with the community.
Wow, we at Plateful Cafe are all so grateful to the Small Awards for crowning us with the Heart of Gold award!
We are thrilled to have been recognized for our commitment to the Greenwich and Lewisham community.

How do I learn more about the refugee crisis?
To learn about the refugee crisis, read articles from reputable news sources, follow organizations like the International Rescue Committee on social media, and volunteer with local organizations that help refugees.
