Also, science does not originate from Christianity. Scientific thinking and testing was used by the Ancient Egyptians and Greeks long before Christians came onto the scene.

@NotEvolution1 The fact you posted this meme shows you don't understand what you're criticizing. There are two major categories of dinosaur: avian and non-avian. The non-avians died out after that asteroid impact, and it was the avians that went on to become our modern day birds.

@NotEvolution1 Both life and the Earth itself are not closed systems, and because of that local entropy is able to decrease. If entropy worked how creationists imagine then we wouldn't have our current technology, nor would we be able to do things as mundane as change water into ice.

When something has consensus in science like the theories of gravity, evolution or plate tectonics, it's based on data which has been tested and validated. When all the evidence points to one idea, most scientists will support it.

@1WretchedVessel @TheDJ_King The Big Bang theory doesn't claim that everything came from nothing. Even scientists who do use "nothing" as a term are talking about something.

The 2nd law only states that the universe's entropy must continue increasing. It allows local forms of order as long as that stands.
