IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE - STOP FOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND SIREN:

This afternoon, just after 3 PM, an SRPD officer was driving with emergency lights and siren while trying to respond to an emergency domestic violence incident that was in progress. The officer was heading westbound on Fifth Avenue approaching the intersection with Irwin Street in Downtown San Rafael.

Emergency vehicle preemption was working and had turned the westbound Fifth Avenue traffic signal to green while turning the Irwin Street traffic signal to red.

As the officer entered into the intersection, a vehicle traveling northbound on Irwin Street ignored the emergency lights, siren, and red traffic signal light and went into the intersection.

The officer tried to stop but it was too late. The vehicles collided. Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle was not injured and the officer only suffered a minor injury.

Drugs and alcohol were not suspected in this collision and no arrests were made.

This serves as a reminder to yield and stop for emergency vehicles using emergency lights and sirens, it’s the law.

Additionally, it’s important to pay attention to traffic signals, signs, and road markings. Don’t place yourself and others in harms way by ignoring the rules of the road, and NEVER drive distracted. This could have been a lot worse.

All of a sudden, my OneDrive folders on my Surface Pro 7 were inaccessible (clicking on files would not open them). I reset OneDrive using this, but it takes about 10-15 minutes to work! I hope this helps!

Reminder-the process takes 10-15 mins to reset after OK.

Press the Windows and R keys at the same time. Then you will see a Run window.
2. Input the OneDrive reset command in the blank: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
Then click on OK.
