It has now been around 1,100 days since my father, Imran Khan, was imprisoned, and my brother and I haven’t heard his voice since March. For months, we’ve been denied contact with him. We remain in the dark about his access to healthcare as his eyesight continues to deteriorate. He urgently needs medical attention, and with no family or legal access, we don’t even get any second hand information or reassurance.
I’ve found myself especially missing him recently. I want to speak to him about mundane things like my cricket, books I’ve been reading and what new movies are good. I understand the people of Pakistan want their chosen leader free, but I miss my father more than ever.
But this is not just about a father. It is about Pakistan, and its future. A rigged, authoritarian regime continues to crush political opposition, undermine democratic institutions, and deny millions of Pakistanis their right to freely choose their leaders, whilst terrorising those who speak their beliefs.
I once again plea to the international community to not look away. Silence in the face of injustice only enables it.
We have been informed that my father, Imran Khan, has lost most of the vision in his right eye, with reports indicating only 15% eyesight remains. This is the direct consequence of 922 days of solitary confinement, medical neglect (denied blood tests) and the deliberate denial of proper treatment in jail.
The responsibility lies squarely with the regime in power, the Army Chief and the puppets enabling this cruelty. This physical deterioration is happening under their orders, their watch and their responsibility. They have manipulated and warped the justice system in order to keep my father in solitary confinement.
My brother and I are still being denied visas to see our father as his health deteriorates. History will record this injustice.
We urge human rights bodies, legal institutions and democratic nations to confront this persecution and ensure those responsible face consequences.
Two years ago, we saw one of the biggest electoral heists in Pakistan's history, violating the will of millions of voters in the name of establishing stability & security.
Today, despite a systematic assault on the constitution & unending use of force to maintain the resulting regime, that promised stability & security looks more distant than ever. Despite the imposition of two years of top down economic, legal and security decisions, insecurity, unemployment & investment indicators have continued to detioriate.
There is nothing anti-state or politically partisan about wanting Pakistan to have a lawful, representative & constitutional form of government. Call it by whatever name you want, we need a political settlement in power that represents the will of our people or the goal of creating lasting security and prosperity for our country will remain beyond reach.
As long as Imran Khan doesn’t bend the knee, they can’t win. And if they can’t win against Imran Khan, they can't survive.
The odds are stacked against them; all Imran Khan has to do is hold the position and let them collapse on their own; it may feel like forever in coming but it will be sudden.
All empires, dictatorship, and hybrids crack from within.
#PAKWatch🇵🇰: Imran Khan has now spent 915 days illegally incarcerated in a Pak jail.
As for me, the last time I spoke with Captain Pak was 1,012 days ago.
FREE CAPTAIN PAKISTAN.
🚨 SERIOUS CONCERNS: Imran Khan’s personal physician Dr. Asim Yousuf says the eye disease being reported cannot be treated at PIMS, as the required specialist ophthalmologist is not available.
He says the exact nature of Khan’s illness has not been clarified, warns it may be serious, possibly linked to an underlying condition, and insists that only a highly trained specialist can treat it.
👉 Access to Imran Khan must be granted immediately.
My father, Imran Khan, has now spent over 900 days in a death cell with no family visits and no access to his personal doctors. Credible reports confirm he has been diagnosed with central retinal vein occlusion, a dangerous blockage that can lead to permanent vision loss if not treated through urgent medical intervention in a proper hospital.
Yet authorities continue to block his treatment and deny him the doctors he trusts. I am even denied the right to speak to him. This is not governance. This is authoritarian cruelty.
I call on every defender of human rights to act before it is too late. The world must see that in Pakistan today, democracy is hollow and basic human rights are being crushed.
Families, people from all walks of life, various ethnicity and nice weather. Despite all the darkness and lack of information people are standing their ground. Plus a nice cup of tea is keeping us going. Pakistan Zindabad, Imran Khan Zindabad
Let's flip the scenario and imagine Nawaz was in jail, party was in shambles (kind of is), top leadership nowhere to be seen and CM Punjab Atta Tarar was given the task to mobilize people in Karachi. I think he'd stick to Raiwind 😆Yeah aukat hai!
IMRAN AHMED KHAN NIAZI ❤️
🇵🇰 NO COURTROOM, NO DEFENSE, NO JUSTICE: IMRAN KHAN AND HIS WIFE SENTENCED TO 17 YEARS IN JAIL
In yet another blow from the Pakistani establishment, Imran and his wife Bushra Bibi have been sentenced to a further 17 years in prison each over gifts they legally received while in office.
The Toshakhana 2 case accused them of “selling” Saudi state gifts - watches, diamonds, and jewelry - in 2021. But no due process, no transparency, and no real defense was allowed.
The trial? Held inside prison at Adiala Jail. The judge? Delivered the verdict straight to their cell. Imran is being kept in solitary confinement, and his sons say they fear for his life.
This is political persecution - plain and simple. Imran is a political prisoner, targeted for daring to challenge Pakistan’s powerful military-backed elite.
He’s already serving time in the Al-Qadir Trust case, another trial critics call a sham.
The message from the state is clear: challenge the system, and it will crush you.
