On Sunday, the busy streets of London came to a standstill as the Eucharist was processed between some of the Central London parishes.
Our Lord was accompanied throughout the day in Holy Mass, prayer, and song, witnessing to his presence in the heart of our city.
@LeotheGreat19 I think The Lumo Project’s treatment of this parable is very emotional, as it is with many other parts of the Gospels - https://t.co/Z6bYjinnWF
This #TradingPlaces documentary on C5 is lovely - 3 laddish but likeable lads spending a week at Oxford Carmelite Friary and being deeply affected by their experiences. Thanks be to God!
His Majesty The King has sent a message of congratulations to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV on the first anniversary of his election, reflecting upon the enduring ties between the United Kingdom and the Holy See. 🇬🇧🇻🇦
🗳️ Local Elections – 7 May 2026: A Call to Faithful Citizenship
As the upcoming local elections in England and the Senedd elections in Wales approach, CSAN has produced a new guidance resource to support Catholics in engaging thoughtfully and responsibly in public life.
At the heart of this guidance is a simple but important truth: participation in public life is not optional. It flows from our baptism, our commitment to human dignity, and our responsibility to serve the common good.
Our resource offers:
📖 A clear overview of Catholic teaching on political engagement
🧠 Guidance on forming conscience — beyond party politics
❓ Practical questions to ask candidates on key issues including poverty, housing, work, migration, and care for our common home
This is about more than voting — it’s about bringing Gospel values into public life and ensuring that the voices of the most vulnerable are heard.
We encourage you to read, reflect, engage with candidates, and make your vote count.

"I was very pleased to be part of the Archbishop of Canterbury's audience with Pope Leo today. It is a further witness to the co-operation between the Catholic Church and the Anglican Communion." [1/2]
As Catholics, if we were to speak on adultery only half the amount that some speak of homosexuality, I’m sure many many more would relate, as it is far more common.
Adultery is not spoken of very loudly at all, even though it be one of the main reasons of breaking family unison.
As the Committee Stage of the Terminally Ill (Adults) End of Life Bill is concluded in the House of Lords, I wish to express gratitude to all those Parliamentarians who have worked tirelessly to preserve the dignity of every human life and ensure that end-of life care remains rooted in compassion and respect until the natural end of life.

As we share these quotes by #PopeFrancis today, we honor his legacy and continue the journey he so courageously inspired - a Church that listens, discerns, and walks together.
May his words continue to guide us in being a more synodal Church as we continue #walkingtogether.
On the first anniversary of the death of Pope Francis, we remember his moral leadership, compassion, and commitment to dialogue. His leadership helped strengthen the close and enduring relationship between the 🇬🇧 and the 🇻🇦.
On the first anniversary of the birth into heaven of our dear #PopeFrancis, his words and actions remain written in our hearts. We carry on his legacy by always proclaiming the joy of the Gospel, announcing God’s mercy, and promoting fraternity among all men and women.
The Pope is not a liberal woke. He is simply a Christian following the Lord. Those who label him as such and are angry at him for speaking against injustices are the ones willfully forgetting how to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
Thomas Becket
“Accetto la morte per il nome di Gesù e per la Chiesa”.
Quello che era stato un uomo di potere, abituato al comando, muore da servo di Cristo e martire pur di non rinnegare la fede e di custodire la libertà della Chiesa Cattolica.

O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the
Blessed Virgin
prepared a worthy dwelling for your Son,
grant, we pray,
that, as you preserved her from every stain
by virtue of the Death of your Son,
so, through her intercession,
we too may be cleansed & admitted to your presence
