Happy birthday to Piper Laurie, who turns 90 today! Loved her best in The Hustler (1961), for which she earned a much-deserved Academy Award nomination. She was also Oscar-nominated for the role that introduced me to her -- Sissy Spacek's mother in Carrie (1976).
