🚨🚨🎙️| Florentino Pérez: "You will never guess what superstar I'm going for.
It's NOT Olise, NOT Haaland, NOT Kane, NOT Doku.
I won't say anything else now.
See you next week." 👀💣
Been a while so should we run a cheeky World Cup giveaway?
I’ll go £100 since it’s the full tourney haha
£100 to the first person who guesses below the team that’ll win the tournament and the top scorer of the tournament 🏆
Example “Scotland and Mbappe”
Must RT and be following 🙏❤️
Last entry’s must be before first WC game kicks off👊
On Bruno, I don’t think the succession plan should be to try and find a like for like replacement anyway. You’d have to recruit perfectly and get so lucky. Bruno’s don’t just come along all the time. It’s probably optimal to reshape the positions around him.
I’m seeing a lot of negative discourse about United potentially signing Rogers. I wouldn’t want an overpay on someone who isn’t a touchline winger but I think Cunha’s shown when pushed slightly wider that top players make it work and Rogers is a top player.
At the right price, you take quality if it isn’t stunting other signings. You sign him for a fair price after mids and LB is done, you can’t complain that much. Also having Rogers, Cunha and Gabriel gives you a no10 cushion when Bruno’s done, despite differing profiles.
@thatsamybad Played very well for a period in his first season. His first real dip in form of his career while trying to bulk up, whilst already in a development phase this season. He’s faced his big physical and mental challenges. If he gets over them, there’s a top player there.
@analyzingfutbol A loan with a slightly lower than value option (to account for the risk premium his injury brings) for Rodrygo should be considered for us.
@analyzingfutbol Tbf Ederson isn’t too bad aerially. Tchouameni probably fits the best out of the 3rd midfielder in terms of needs. Anderson isn’t the exact profile but he’s just rly good. I honestly think we’ll still try for 1 of them 2. Rly bad PR to hype them as our targets and not get 1.
@analyzingfutbol I’m not sure where off the top of my head but pretty confident I’ve seen a few times him stressing that he wants to play games as a priority. Being a no2 wouldn’t rly provide that. Not wanting another loan is just something I’m offering up as a possibility of why we’d sell.
@Rahul_Ramdas@analyzingfutbol I think the primary aim will be consolidation and I’m not gonna be upset with Carrick if a title challenge doesn’t happen. However, I think the board should be aggressive with recruitment as the current state of the top of the league is as weak as it prolly ever will be.
@analyzingfutbol@Rahul_Ramdas Basically both sides have to be able to vary their attacking approach unless it’s basically unstoppable even if they know what’s coming, due to the depth they can cross from and accuracy of specialists such as Trent and Beckham etc.
@analyzingfutbol@Rahul_Ramdas You do, so the left has to have the same variation, so that he can do both. He’s not a TAA who can carry that whole responsibility and if you want to get it in the box you funnel it through them. You can only rly do that with a top 1% specialist. Otherwise it’s too predictable.
