BREAKING: Costco hits Donald Trump with a massive lawsuit over his disastrous and illegal tariffs — and demands that his administration cough up a "full refund" for the money he took.

The dam is about to break on this White House...

“Because [the the International Emergency Economic Powers Act] does not clearly authorize the President to set tariffs ... the Challenged Tariff Orders cannot stand and the defendants are not authorized to implement and collect them,” Costco's lawsuit reads.

The retail juggernaut is demanding massive monetary recompense if and when the Supreme Court rules that the tariffs were illegally implemented. Costco stated that U.S. Customs and Border Protection has denied their request for more time to calculate the total tariffs owed, which could endanger the company's ability to obtain a full refund if Trump loses in court.

The suit also asks the judge to block CBP from seizing further tariffs until the case is decided. While Costco did not state in the suit how much the tariffs have cost them, importers have paid close to $90 billion under the IEEPA through September according to CBP.

Crucially, Costco isn't the only corporation leveling this kind of lawsuit against the Trump administration, meaning that if the Supreme Court strikes down Trump's tariffs, there could be a deluge of money flowing back to these companies. Cosmetics titan Revlon, motorcycle company Kawasaki, and canned foods company Bumble Bee are just a few of the firms suing.

While it's still unclear how the court will rule, both liberal and conservative justices have already voiced skepticism for Trump's power to implement the tariffs. They seem to have indicated that the will rule against him in order to uphold existing laws on the books. If and when that happens, Trump is in deep, deep trouble.

BREAKING: Journalist and college professor Stacey Patton goes viral by penning a stunningly powerful statement about how she was on Charlie Kirk’s “digital hit list” and recounting the horror that he inflicted on her.

We cannot allow this tragic assassination to whitewash Kirk’s legacy…

“I am on Charlie Kirk’s hit list,” Patton wrote to her 215,000 followers on Facebook. “His so-called ‘Professor Watchlist,’ run under the umbrella of Turning Point USA, is nothing more than a digital hit list for academics who dare to speak truth to power. I landed there in 2024 after writing commentary that inflamed the MAGA faithful. And once my name went up, the harassment machine roared to life.”

“For weeks my inbox and voicemail were deluged. Mostly white men spat venom through the phone: ‘bitch,’ ‘c*nt,’ ‘n****r.’ They threatened all manner of violence,” she continued.

“They overwhelmed the university’s PR lines and the president’s office with calls demanding that I be fired,” Patton wrote. “The flood was so relentless that the head of campus security reached out to offer me an escort, because they feared one of these keyboard soldiers might step out of his basement and come do me harm.”

“And I am not unique,” she added.

“Kirk’s Watchlist has terrorized legions of professors across this country. Women, Black faculty, queer scholars, basically anyone who challenged white supremacy, gun culture, or Christian nationalism suddenly found themselves targets of coordinated abuse,” Patton wrote.

“Some received death threats. Some had their jobs threatened. Some left academia entirely. Kirk sent the loud message to us: speak the truth and we will unleash the mob!” she continued.

“That is the culture of violence Charlie Kirk built. He normalized violence. He curated it, monetized it, and sicced it on anyone who dared to puncture his movement’s lies,” she wrote.

“And now, in the wake of his shooting, there’s all this national outpouring of mourning, moments of silence, yellow prayer hands, and tributes painting him as a civil debater,” Patton continued. “But the truth is that Kirk and his foot soldiers spent years terrorizing educators, trying to silence us with harassment and fear!”

“And now the same violence he unleashed on others has come full circle.”

“But what i find especially jarring is the dissonance in public mourning for a smug white man whose life work was actively hostile to certain groups,” she continued. “Kirk spent years demonizing LGBTQ people, mocking gun survivors, spewing racism about Black folks, and pushing policies that literally shorten lives.”

“It is so revolting to watch a bipartisan wave of grief sweep over this hateful racist as if he was a neutral community servant,” she concluded.

This is pure unvarnished truth from Patton. Charlie Kirk did not deserve what happened to him, but nor did his victims deserve the hell that he unleashed on them. If Americans are going to build a more peaceful future for ourselves we must condemn political violence while also condemning the hateful, bigoted rhetoric that made Kirk a multimillionaire.

BREAKING: Congresswoman Debbie Dingell issues a dire warning about the next pandemic amidst the shocking MAGA attacks on public health.

The congresswoman is “very worried” and we can’t afford to ignore her message…

“I’m afraid people are going to die,” Dingell told CNN just a day after Trump’s quack Health Secretary RFK Jr. gave a jaw-droppingly deranged Senate testimony full of lies and anti-vax rhetoric.

“If we get another COVID, we are not going to be ready, and people are going to die in mass numbers,” Dingell said.

RFK recently ousted the widely respected director of the CDC and mass fired the members of the vaccine advisory panel, replacing them with MAGA hatchet men.

Dingell pushed back forcefully against the Republican Party’s tsunami of misinformation about the coronavirus vaccine.

“I’m very careful; I was scared to death to get the COVID vaccine, but I got it because it was saving lives. We need educated consumers, but we cannot throw this all out,” she said.

Dingell pointed to Florida’s insane decision to end vaccine mandates altogether as a particular cause for concern. She fears that it could kick off a wave of identical decisions in other states, leading to deadly and avoidable disease outbreaks.

“I remember measles, chickenpox and mumps — I had all of them, and people die sometimes of them,” she said “We have seen epidemics of measles in the past year in different locations around this country, including Michigan.”

Thanks to crackpots like RFK we are teetering on the verge of a new Dark Age. If the Republican Party’s anti-science crusade continues to grow we will witness the resurgence of long dormant and defeated viruses. Countless people will die because of unadulterated, weaponized ignorance.
