One of the more fun things about being a longtime Taylor Swift fan is that her lyrics are so specific to her but so easy to mold in your mind to your own life

And it was interesting to see little glimpses on the Eras Tour of her doing the same thing her fans do

This song is probably about Joe Jonas, who she dated in 2008. But when she performed it after a bad breakup 15 years later, you can see in her eyes that she can still tap into that anger, not just as part of the performance but as a very in-the-moment experience: right now, that song is about a different man who treated her like shit
