Every year on the anniversary of John Lennon's death, on the 8th of December, the National Trust leaves his bedroom light on in his childhood home for fans to go and commemorate his life. It's the most beautiful tribute! 🤍

@caitlinmoran The biggest issues in Uk is to get comfortable talking about death, I often speak to patients in 80’s&90’s who say “I’ve had a good innings, I just want to go peacefully” whilst their families battle requesting medical investigations or treatment to prolong their parents lives
