Fantastic first talk from Harsha and @mershen1 on decolonising practice. Although these conversations can be uncomfortable and can generate anger on both sides, I loved the perspective to acknowledge that anger as it is in fact engaging in the conversation #JointStudyDay

One of the main reasons I became an #SLT was because we can provide #earlyintervention. But I do wish our politicians shared the same view of how important EI is!!

We are almost half way through #AACawarenessmonth, and I think this visual is a great way to remember the variety of functions that #AAC can be used for. One that is often forgotten is internal dialogue - but this is so important for #selfregulation!

What a fun day at work yesterday! Attended the Brick by Brick training by @playincluded, and learnt how to facilitate play based sessions for young people using @LEGO_Group. I can't wait to try it out! Here's our freestyle build - a fruit tree, pelican, rainbow and sun 🌳🐦🌈🌞
