Manatees are herbivores who spend 50% of their time sleeping and 50% grazing, using their flippers to dig for plants.
They are known as sea cows due to their slow, curious nature.
Manatees are frequently mistaken for mermaids. Their scientific name is Sirenia.

@MarlenaPapaya It continued travelling down and took out some leaves - but then it mysteriously stopped.
I've been too afraid to trim it in case it starts up again, so it has kept its brown top.
But the bottom half of the trunk has really bloomed this year with new leaves!
Coelacanths are living fossil fish that have existed for as long as 410 million years. It was thought they went extinct 66 million years ago, but were residcovered in 1938.
Coelacanths grow up to 2m long and weigh 90kg. They can live to 100 years old.
