Just one day (and one night) until International TableTop Day kicks off @cakesnladders
Don't forget we're running a tallest tower competition the whole time #jenga
Just two (too) days until #internationaltabletopday@cakesnladders and we're super excited even if a game with the actual number two is hard to find in our collection of over 900 games.
Sunday will have our giant #cthulhuwars tournament complete with it's own trophy!
Just three days until International TableTop Day(s) @cakesnladders
Saturday will be the biggest day of the whole event with three tournaments and a TTRPG from @citysquarestudios
We'll have tournaments of
Sushi Go
Ticket to Ride
Dixit
Four days until International TableTop Day @cakesnladders and despite the name we're actually having three days worth of events.
Starting off with a #quiznight on Friday
Who guessed we'd use Connect 4 for day four of our countdown?
Five days until the start of International TableTop Day @cakesnladders
Get ready for #tournaments#prizes#ttrpgs and #cocktails
Can you guess what games from our collection will be used for the rest of the countdown?
Days four, three, too (yes too not two) and one to go.
@Puffindor As a board game cafe we have considered running such events but we're just not really sure how to make sure to be properly inclusive to the diverse spectrum of what people look for in partners.
@RestorationGame The Faceless by Alterego Games uses a compass for movement direction. A spinner might work better in a game that you didn't want to involve magnets in.
Do check out the game though, best meshing of lore and game mechanics I have ever seen.
@Basilisk_Art@ProZD Okay so the ninja clan Daredevil fights are called The Hand the ninja clan the TMNT fight are called The Foot.
Daredevil is trained by Stick and the TMNT are trained by splinter.
I'll try to find the link but it might get snagged by the linking to other platforms rule.
@RobertHartleyGM Wishing you luck didn't seem to work out and you're essentially an actor so maybe saying 'Break a leg' is the correct course of action.
