Podcast: What Makes Me Mad

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

When I die, I hope people don't criticize the mistakes I make and only remember that for my legacy. I hope people learn from my mistakes and focus on the positives I created

[Matthew S. @MatthewMKE98]

I wish Jordan Love had this type of PR man

My QB would never get excuses like this, instead he got blamed for a loss after throwing for 323 yards and 4 touchdowns

Make it make sense

@soxjam @FrPBehm @NFLonPrime

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

@FrPBehm @NFLonPrime Packers fan here, gonna listen to it on the radio!

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

Group of 5 teams should still get a chance to qualify for the #CFBPlayoff

Just have each P4 conference champion receive an automatic qualifier and rank either the best 12 or 16 teams

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

@AndyHermanNFL What's crazy about that play was Nixon stared on the other side of the field, rolled with williams and moore and then drifted back to cover the tight end. Just an unbelievable play

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

@DanielleTrotta Y'all can move the playoffs to July and I still won't watch them

[Ezra Klein @ezraklein]

In the last few years we've seen:

- The plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer
- The Storming of the Capitol and pipe bombs left at the RNC and DNC
- The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi
- Multiple assassination attempts against Trump
- The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife
- Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson
- The assassination of Charlie Kirk

Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all.

The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

@jeff_gluck The playoff fatigue is definitely a part of this but it still blows my mind that NBC wants the playoffs but then sticks the first two races on cable where they go directly up against football being shown on national broadcasts

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

Oh, well if the point isn't to crown the best driver than I guess I won't watch the playoffs. I'd rather watch the best get crowned champion

[Mamba Smith @MambaSmith34]

The point isn’t to crown the best driver… It’s to crown the best team who executed the best when the pressure was at its highest and the lights were the brightest.

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

@YelichWasRobbed Can probably add Bakhtiari to 2021 as well. I think the offense puts up more points against the 49ers if rodgers has a little more time to work with

[Nathan Marzion @nathanmarzion]

We have Giannis Antetokounmpo and they don't.

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

Them: Cal, how can you celebrate Duke losing on a questionable call?

Me: Remembering 2015 after they showed Coach K in the stands

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

@TheFantasySmith @BadgerMBB For guys that I've watched

PG: Koenig
SG: Tonje
SF: Dekker
PF: Kaminsky
C: Happ

Bench: Brust, Hayes, Leuer, Butch, Davis, Taylor and Mike Bruesewitz (need someone to hit a corner three or dive into the stands after a lose ball and fire up the crowd)

[whitesoxdave @barstoolWSD]

MLB is the worst

I’ve said this before: they should stagger opening day start times ~every 30 mins like opening round of March madness and make a celebration out of it. Get people excited for the whole sport instead of their team

Oh and do NOT compete with March madness

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

@AndyHermanNFL Not only that but they are having exactly one game on national television too for opening day. Just a bunch of errors

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

@Evan_Flood Appreciate the updates this season Evan. Badger Nation appreciates your work!

[Dillon Graff @DillonGraff]

Most programs would love to have what Wisconsin does with Greg Gard: stability, a winning culture, consistent NCAA Tournament appearances, and a coach who isn’t chasing the next big job. Don’t take that for granted.

[Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein]

A message to America.

[Calahan Steed @CalahanSteed]

Literally Allen Media Group right now

[J🛰seph Patton @JosephPattonWx]

Allen Media Group, who owns and operates 22 local "big 4" television stations across the US, and also coincidentally, The Weather Channel, has decided to cut costs by eliminating the jobs of every local meteorologist at all of their stations. all of them. a🧵

[Scary Alvarez @barryisthedon]

That night I believed with every fiber of my being that Wisconsin would be a college football powerhouse going forward 💔
