Slowly walking away from the Twitterverse and checking out Threads. If only I could make myself quit social media altogether, or at least stop reading the comments. Thar be a-holes…
So, parliament voted on whether or not climate change exists & whether or not the Federal Gov. should do more to help communities affected by natural disasters.
Everyone voted "yes"...
Except Poilievre's CPC. 🤦🏻 #CdnPoli#Canada
#CPC are holding Parliament hostage and preventing passage of life-saving legislation like Bill #C22#Disabled Canadians continue to suffer while the opposition leader makes quips for the camera
Stop the partisan #filibuster so we can get to work and #RatifyC22#cdnpoli#PWD
@GailVazOxlade This city girl volunteered at a rescue farm yesterday, cleaning a chicken & duck & partridge coop. I didn’t notice the smell. On a previous visit, I cleaned the cow & pig & goat & sheep barn & pen. Maybe next time I’ll be in the horse enclosure. Should I bring a clothespin?
@brittlestar If he calls again, please tell him that a little girl once had a nightmare in which a bulb in her living room light fixture was replaced by a tiny version of the Fonz’s head. It was me. I am now turning 50. To this day, I remain terrified of burnt-out incandescent lightbulbs.
@SkipTheDishes I’ve placed 80 orders over 5 years. On the infrequent occasion when a restaurant missed an item, I requested a refund on that item only. So WHY, the last time that happened, was I given this obnoxious message by your so-called “customer service”?
@GailVazOxlade I hope that you’re feeling at least a bit better today, Gail. I can’t count the number of sunny days that I’ve spent indoors, regretful and depressed. It’s worse than being down in the dumps on a rainy day.
