Also... are yall under some impression that artists don't benefit from adaptations of their work? Adaptation rights get shopped around & sold so quickly because they typically boost sales of the original work. Which go to the publisher AND creator's pockets.
We're at the point in this right-wing shift in fandom where traditionally conservative Koreans are now showing more of a backbone against platforming the work of racist far-right incels than international fans are. It was only 3 years ago where everyone was on the same page, lol.
