this whole thing comes from people confusing the 'true transsexual' movement (which eventually was called truscum and transmed) with the tumblr/tiktok definition of transmed
yesterday, when my roommate and i were coming back home from a rave, we were singing tracks off of volcanic bird enemy and the voiced concern and it felt amazing
There's a lot of singing in Gravity's Rainbow. It struck me as unrealistic at first—maybe imaginary or halucinatory—but now I'm thinking maybe it's weird that people don't sing much in daily life anymore?
yeah but also vhs is an interesting medium and it shouldn't be dismissed simply because millenials have abused it in the past 15 years. there is so much that can be done with tapes, you're just tired of "vhs filters"
People stuck in aesthetic past time prisons!!! To use older consumer electronics in an effective way you should be filming ur music videos with old i pod touches or i phone 6 cameras. Not VHS cameras. We have been doing that since 2010. Early digital about to be out too.
i feel like the current wave of anti-"transmedicalism" stems from the fact that people read "transmeds are bad" and then thought it meant "medically transitioning people are bad"
trans meds are the ones that want you on a 10 year waitlist to get hrt and will do everything to make that possible and you make their lives 100 times easier by fear mongering about diy
