Luanda is a perfect example of how to maintain a coastal city and keep it a concrete jungle, but still in a very chic and sleek way.
And this is something our government and our residents must learn.
They don’t know more than street trading and destroying the environment.
The government, on the other hand, don’t know how to manage infrastructure or maintain it, and it’s very bad.
You already have a beautiful existing city, so why not maintain it? All roads should be well asphalted, well marked, curbs well painted and maintained.
Medians can be concrete or green, but they must be well maintained, especially in central areas where visitors are likely to go.
Famous markets like balogun market or lekki arts and crafts and key layouts should be well maintained. Don’t get me wrong, Luanda has its ghetto parts, although they are even working on it, but at least the central areas are highly maintained.
Our government does not even maintain central areas properly.
Have you seen Ozumba Mbadiwe highway? One of the most strategic highways in Lagos, and yet it looks run down.
From Lekki Phase 1 down to Bonny Camp should be smooth, well marked, and well maintained.
If I post the video of Ozumba Mbadiwe, you’ll almost cry. A strategic, inevitable highway should not look like that.
This current administration needs to do a lot of work.
You already have existing infrastructure, maintain it. Keep the city clean and consistent. Everywhere might not be the same, but central areas should be at the highest standard.
Send street traders or loitering away from key places.
These places are where government should show excellence.
People should come into the city and be impressed. It should be a matter of pride and prestige. Even the residents themselves should feel proud.

“Please, we are begging . This is our 13th day in the den with both the children and us, under the rain and scorching sun. Please do not fight these terrorists, Gov Seyi Makinde , negotiate with them and give them whatever they demand.” — Kidnapped principal and teachers in new video released by terrorists.
Ilorin is changing fast and it’s beautiful to witness and document the transformation.
Over the past few years, Kwara State has experienced massive transformation with projects happening left, right and center. From newly constructed roads and modern infrastructure to improved city planning and urban development, Ilorin is gradually taking the shape of a modern Nigerian city while still preserving its calm and unique identity. #visitilorin
One thing I will never do is try to preach to any Nigerian that APC has destroyed our economic strata.
Let anyone provide the number of young Nigerians who travelled to Libya, Egypt, Jordan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc, to do house maids between 1960 and 2014 then 2104 and 2026.
Not to talk of humiliation and challenges these people are going through just to survive.
APC means destruction.

“they arrested Fasheun and sent him to prison, we used to do something for him every 8 days, Gani Adams that’s now Aare Ona Kakanfo was very young then he was the one we always send to give him the concoction that year in prison, that’s how we started activism.
Sunday Igboho is a small boy, which day did he start here, it’s Yoruba Nation that brought him now, people even said he has joined a political party (APC) that he disappointed them, they reported him to me and i said he didn’t disappoint anyone.
Sunday is not an activist, he was never an activist, anybody that joins a political party is not an activist. it’s politicians that uses people like Sunday Igboho, activism stands on its own. if not that everything has changed, activists don’t dine with politicians, 25-30 years ago we go against politicians, we are their biggest enemies…” - Alhaji Raimi, founder Agbekoya says.
⚠️ A stern warning to women! ⚠️
Never run in a deserted place, especially a forest, you don't know what dangers are there.
This video is very scary, for this woman can run away from the criminal, this is the original video😲😱
REDEMPTION
“In 2003, the street life caught up with my brother, landing him two consecutive prison sentences totaling 24 years. It should have been the end of his story, but after serving 21 years of that time, he stepped back into the world and hit the ground running. By the absolute grace of God, UPS took a chance on him when few others would. He didn't waste the opportunity; he disciplined himself, saved his checks, bought his own car, and even secured a second job to keep the momentum going. All that grinding paid off, and he just officially purchased his very own home! It's living proof that people really can change when they put faith and hard work together. God is good”-Gene Junior 26
