@justinsytsma Yes, 2nd tier doctrines are something we can disagree on, and still be brothers, but I'm not going to force a body of believers to accommodate ME and MY experiences and beliefs. 2nd tier does not mean unimportant.
Agree to disagree, but in a different local church.

You seem to be glossing over some pretty big theological differences here. People have given their lives for these issues.

@theEricSki Yes! The one I heard a lot when we were leaving our IFB church was "Getting hurt by people is just part of ministry" and "People will hurt you no matter what church you go to". Took me a while to realize they were normalizing Christians acting like jerks...

I won't lie, it's personal too.
My family and I have been burned way too often by way too many people in the IFB to ever really trust it again./5

@cBcNixaMO @UnwiseApe @BrudnakJosiah @NCravatt @IFBSermons I don't deny there are good and level headed IFB churches and pastors out there. My father is one of them and I have dear and loved friends within it. I want the good ones to thrive!
