Top 7 Chicago Cubs units of all time
- Randall Simon

- Carlos Zambrano
- Kyle Farnsworth (post-playing career)
- Matt Stairs
- Miguel Montero’s ass
- Kerry Wood (unit energy)
Honorable mention - Boog Schiambi
I like Jaylon Johnson but this is not good. Need our cornerbacks to be irrationally confident not providing this type of honest honor, ha. Bears fans who is starting on JJ tomorrow? Jaylon? Tyrique? Or are we mixing in a lot of zone?
#Bears CB Jaylon Johnson on if he enjoys the #Vikings rivalry, specifically facing their WR core:
“Nah, I don’t enjoy going against the best guys in the league.”

Bears DBs vs Vikings pass catchers.
Jefferson is the problem. He is the best player on the field and he does not care who is lined up across from him.
Addison is next. Jennings is out, which helps. It does not fix 18.
Hockenson will live in the middle when Wentz does not want to push it. Oliver is the extra body.
Jaylon Johnson has to live on Jefferson as much as they will let him. That is not a shutdown assignment. That is damage control. If he is trailing by three yards, the game is already sideways.
Stevenson is the one who makes me nervous. Been bad so far this year. Carolina had moments. Clean early and Chicago can play man. Grabbing cloth in the first quarter and they bail to zone, which is when Jefferson sits in the hole and ends the drive.
Muhammad looked like a real nickel last week. That matters more with Jennings out. If he keeps finding the ball, this secondary suddenly has a third grown-up.
Safeties are Chicago’s better group. Thieneman made plays. Lewis is the veteran. Smith is still Smith on the other side. Do not get greedy over the top.
Minnesota has the better receivers. Chicago has enough to live if they tackle and do not let Jefferson beat them on 3rd-and-7.
Wentz is 4–0 against this franchise because somebody used to be open.
Jefferson will get his. If Addison and Hockenson get theirs too, the 59 points last week will not matter.
Put Johnson on 18.
Make everybody else tackle.
Do not let a tight end walk into the hash.
For the first time since Week 7 of the 2022 season, we do not have a single player with an out, doubtful or questionable designation on our injury report
Carson Wentz is 4–0 against the Bears in his career.
5 TDs. 0 INTs.
All of that was in Philadelphia and Washington.
As a Viking: 0–0.
Sunday is the first one in purple.
Bears are going to change that record to 4-1.
How many sacks Bears fans?
#Vikings defender Josh Metellus said the team has “everybody trying their best” in practice to prepare for #Bears QB Caleb Williams:
“You try to do whatever you can, but nothing can really simulate that feeling of being 1 on 1 with 18 and not knowing where he’s gonna go.”
Bears LT Ozzy Traplip has no injury designation for Sunday. He was a full go at practice today.
There is a possibility where he sees the field Sunday at LT. Pretty remarkable story and a testament to Ozzy's work ethic to be back so soon
