Caitlin Clark Vs. Angel Reese

Since your favorite “journalists” won’t do it, I’ll say what needs to be said.

What you saw last year versus this year is a juxtaposition between winning – and losing – with class and dignity.

Angel won last year, taunted Clark, and rode off high and mighty because of it.

That taunt was the best move of her career. She’s basked in glory of it ever since, and been celebrated by “the culture” for it.

She will be famous for the rest of her career because of it. Congrats.

This year, she loses to the Clark.

Now, she’s giving speeches about how hard it’s been, how she’s been attacked, misunderstood, and tears at the podium.

Notice how Caitlin Clark did NONE of this — in the loss, nor in victory.

She lost with dignity last year, and won with class this year.

This is obvious, and everyone can see it.

But here’s the problem: Angel Reese is black, and of “the culture” — Caitlin Clark is white and seemingly not.

The black girl showed her ass.
The white girl displayed dignity.

PROBLEM: No one in the mainstream can say these things (and keep their jobs).

So, no one mainstream will point out this juxtaposition. Even though we can ALL see it.

This is not about Caitlin Clark, nor Angel Reese.

It’s a reflection on how far journalism has fallen, and how your favorite “journalists” are no longer about getting to the truth of things (their actual job, believe it or not).

They’re only about pushing certain angles that a certain frame, all based on identity and how they (the writer / speaker) will look to their audience.

This morning, right now, they’re all scrambling for new column ideas — as reality no longer fits with what they were going to write / podcast about.
