JUST IN: The downtown steakhouse 117 Prime will close its doors on April 20th and the owners are blaming crime. Chef Ryan Trimm told the Commercial Appeal the steakhouse concept is too expensive to run "in the current conditions of downtown Memphis."
"Downtown has not felt as safe as it once did, we have found that this is steering our guests away," he told the newspaper.
This is Mayor Paul Young's Memphis and this is what his "soul and swagger" have gotten us. Expect more downtown businesses to do the same.
@SenBrentTaylor Most Judges wont abide by the law anyway. TN law lets judges revoke bonds if pick up new case while on bond and most Judges will not completely revoke the bond. why would they follow this?
