Moberly Area Community College freshman Caleb Estes had a standout performance at the Midwest Juco Jamboree, showing he can impact the game in multiple ways. The 6’3” guard attacks the rim with confidence and finishes effectively around the basket. He’s a reliable shooter, knocking down shots off the catch, and can create his own offense off the dribble. Estes moves well off the ball, makes smart decisions, and finds open teammates for high-percentage opportunities. He also keeps his teammates organized and communicates spacing, helping the offense flow smoothly.
On defense, Estes is disciplined and aggressive. He stays in front of his man, anticipates passes, and forces tough shots. He communicates consistently, directing teammates through rotations and alerting them to screens. His defensive awareness creates opportunities for steals, deflections, and fast-break points.
Estes showed he can thrive in many different situations. He demonstrates poise and a competitive mindset, performing at a high level in tough moments. His combination of skill, intelligence, and versatility makes him a guard ready to make an immediate impact at the junior college level.
