We recycle construction materials and make them useable. Using recycled material directly impacts the environmental footprint of a construction project.
According to the government of @canada there are over 400 suspected contaminated sites in #alberta. This facility will support the #remediation of those sites while returning usable sand and gravel to market, supporting remediation and #sustainability.
Contaminated soil is Alberta’s largest hazardous waste stream. Thanks to $8M in funding from our #ShovelReadyChallenge, @CalgaryAggrega1 will develop a fully-operational soil reuse facility--the first-of-its kind in Canada.
