To go along with the theme of kindness found in their in class reading of R.J. Palacio's Wonder, students from Ms. Johnson and Ms. Joy's classes selected their favorite quotes about kindness for our latest library display.
Our students are spreading holiday cheer and making cards for the veterans at the Long Island State Veterans Home....we will have supplies for card making at the circulation desk through next Tuesday!
Yesterday the @CalhounHS English department hosted its annual Poetry Out Loud competition. All of the students did an amazing job. Congratulations to our winner, Reza, and runner up, Emma, both members of the freshmen class...!!!
