"I want the people...to know that they are loved by God...I feel like that's part of my purpose...if I could make everybody feel...loved..." - Carrie Underwood
I hope you know how much you’re loved, @carrieunderwood. Nothing that you do ever goes unnoticed. We’ve been here from the beginning and we will ALWAYS be here. Hope you never get tired of seeing us, because we’ll always be behind you, rooting you on. ❤️
@mazurek_matt@Braves We are not going to agree on this, so let's just leave it at that. I already had this same debate w/ someone else. My personal opinions of cheating also include integrity of the game, regardless of who it is/how many people do it. You have your views of cheating & I have mine.
@GuileKyle@SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves I responded to a couple of tweets, that's it. My question was directed at 1 specific person, but you all are choosing to reply. There are MANY people talking about this, saying things way worse than I have. My issue was w/ the implied extent of that specific moment & the ump.
@CaliaButterfly@Em73Poke@Braves Exactly. It was so disappointing when really nothing was done to them. That's why I have hope that if the Braves win, they beat them. I want a team that doesnt cheat to win a title and deserve it 👍
@SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves I just can't deal with cheating leading to a WS title, at least not without a lot of disgust for MLB's lack of actions, etc.
@SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves Hey we can agree the Astros defnitely don't need to get to the World Series.....unless it's ATL creaming them. HA. But yeah, they don't deserve to be there, period. I'm hoping Rays beat them.
@SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves I don't doubt the vibration and trigger effect feeling, just the hit by pitch part & implied extent of it is what I disagree with. Well, I will say, that if I had to debate with any Dodgers fan, I'd pick you. HA :)
@OptimalMayhemX @SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves What I meant is that sometimes you have to find a legal loophole, b/c there's no other option at the time. Like bringing them in on unpaid tickets b/c there's not enough probable cause for a warrant.
@SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves Thank you for your honesty and objectiveness. It's very refreshing! :)
In return for your kindness, I'll let you know that I did not question his injury in the outfield. It did seem like he could have legitmately fell on it wrong, etc.
@OptimalMayhemX @SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves I dunno why you're picking on me for having a strong belief, for good reasons, when you have a strong belief yourself. If you look a twitter, there are a ton of people talking about this, including sports writers. I don't know why you're singling me out. We don't have to agree.
@OptimalMayhemX @SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves There are laws, for example, that haven't caught up to technology, so they have to create consequences by setting a precedence. It has to start somewhere. Same with the test scenario.
I never, ever, agree with an intentional HBP, for any reason. No matter who the team is.
@OptimalMayhemX @SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves Well, we can agree to disagree, but I'm not ashamed of being a traditionalist, who cares about the integrity part just as much as the written part...maybe more in most cases.
Not always a physically written rule to not cheat on a test, but it's common sense you shouldn't.
@OptimalMayhemX @SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves I don't know what the playbook says on that situation, but I'm one of those people who firmly believe in the unwritten integrity rules, though some, even if not written, are agreed amongst many that they should be written.
@OptimalMayhemX @SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves I never heard a thing about that, but if for some reason he did, I certainly would agree that he should face consequences.
@OptimalMayhemX @SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves I don't like it, no matter who the team is. I feel like cheating in professional sports, whether smaller or minor offenses, is still cheating, and should be recognized by umpires and MLB....and punished. But I'm not the only one not happy with those two calls. A lot of ppl aren't
@OptimalMayhemX @SandraEstela6@Em73Poke@Braves I've not heard of any accusations....do you have a specific ATL pitcher in mind? Like I told someone else, I do remember an ATL PED-positive case or two from a few years ago & I was mad about it and agreed with the suspension. Didn't even want the player to return.
