My religion is the essence of my entire existence and therefore my primary identity.
My primary loyalty therefore to my Creator, the creator of the heavens, the earth and all that is above, beneath and within it.
This is the Islamic creed and no amount of gaslighting, blackmail, or threat of excommunication will alter it.
@KinqKudos@IdrisAOni1 He is not stressing himself
I get your point and he does too
But these false and calculated narratives shouldn’t be allowed to slide just like that, weak muslims could well fall for it
Baarakallahu feekum
If you actually believed the bandits asked the Oyo state government for implementation of Sharia law in Oyo state, not only are you a fool but a deranged one. Lmaoooooo.
This people don’t want to leave Imam Idris neck since morning, I was there the other day too— muted the noise. Until you denounce your faith, they will never stop calling you names.
😂
@hant_qudeee The Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-barasi, wal- jununi, wal-judhami, wa sayyi'il-asqami' (O Allah! I seek refuge in You from leucoderma, insanity, leprosy and evil diseases)."

“None of the Muslim Yoruba a scholars are speaking up” coming from someone that has never listened to a full lecture of any yoruba muslim scholars before, na skits and shorts he go dey find, koshi danu jare!!!
I am first and foremost a Muslim. I am an adherent of Islam, an Abrahamic believer, and a Hanif before anything else. Only then am I Yorùbá.
To those who have made it their mission to question the loyalty of Yorùbá Muslims, you may continue your attacks. But know this: for a true Muslim, Islam will always come first. It precedes ethnicity, culture, and nationality because it is the primordial covenant with our Creator.
A Yorùbá Muslim is not conflicted in his identity. He was a Muslim in the divine decree long before he was conceived, and he entered the world as Yorùbá the day he was born to Yorùbá parents. These two identities are not rivals—they are perfectly compatible. One defines his eternal soul and purpose; the other shapes his language, culture, and earthly heritage. Both have their rightful place.
If any Yorùbá Muslim chooses, for whatever reason, to place ethnicity above Islam, then that person has failed to grasp the most fundamental principle of our faith: La ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah), and nothing has precedence over Him. Such a person's reckoning is with Allah alone.
My identity is clear and unapologetic: Islam first. Always. Everything else follows in its proper order.

URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP.
DEAR EVERYONE,
We humbly appeal to kind-hearted individuals, organizations, and members of the public to come to the aid of this young widow and her three children.
During the holy month of Ramadan, while preparing Sahoor for her family, a pot of hot water accidentally poured on her arm, causing a severe burn injury. What started as a painful accident has become a prolonged struggle because she could not afford proper medical treatment and wound care. As a result, the wound has worsened, leaving her in constant pain and making it difficult for her to work and provide for her children.
This mother is raising three children alone after the loss of her husband. Sadly, despite the existence of family farmland and other shared properties that her late husband had with his siblings that could have helped support her and her children, she has been denied access to these resources, this happened because she refused pressure from the family of her late husband to remarry her late husband’s stepbrother.
This situation is even more sad and heartbreaking because her husband also died from fire accident complications.
Today, she faces two urgent challenges:
Medical treatment and wound care to help her recover and heal properly.
Financial support to start a small business or employment so she can provide food, education, and basic necessities for her three children and regain her independence.
I have been the only one taking care of her since her husband demise last year, it became more intense and too much on me when the fire accident happened and I cannot continue doing this alone.
Her hand is getting so bad, the smell is so bad too that I had to hold my breath to take these pictures with her. And I want to do everything possible I can do for her before I leave Nigeria back to the UK.
No amount is too small. Every contribution will make a meaningful difference in helping this widow rebuild her life and secure a better future for her children.
We sincerely appeal to everyone to show compassion and extend a helping hand during this difficult time.

For further information, please ask questions. She’s currently in Ilorin.
As much as we want security, let’s be careful not to profile innocent people. Except when evidence says otherwise, NEVER assume every Fulani you see is a bandit o. This will escalate secondary retaliation, keeping us in the vicious circle of reprisal attacks for a long time. Let’s be guided 🙏
Hi, I’m Lateefah
I’m a wife, mother of two beautiful children, teacher, content creator, and founder of Islamic Tales for Kids. Somehow, between motherhood, teaching, creating content, and building a brand, I still find time to dream, learn, and work towards the goals Allah has placed in my heart.
I live in Nigeria, where my days are spent teaching children, creating meaningful learning experiences, raising my little humans, building a brand I deeply love, and trying to leave every child I meet a little better than I found them.
Teaching isn’t just something I do; it’s something I genuinely enjoy. There is something beautiful about watching children learn, grow, ask questions, and discover the world around them.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me reading a book, watching a movie, or enjoying my all-time favourite meal pounded yam with Okpella Egusi soup😛
I also love singing… alone. And yes, I love breakdancing too… alone😂😂
Despite being quite shy, I can be surprisingly playful and energetic.
I love calm, clean spaces and the peace that comes with them, which is why cleaning can actually feel therapeutic to me. There is something satisfying about putting things in order and creating a space that feels welcoming.
I dream of travelling around the world someday, experiencing different cultures, meeting new people, and collecting beautiful memories along the way.
One of my biggest dreams is to own a school and a bookstore , a place where children can learn, grow, imagine, read, and fall in love with knowledge.
Above all, I hope to raise children who love Allah, love learning, and become beneficial to the world around them.
Here you’ll find faith, family life, motherhood, children’s education, books, everyday reflections, a little humour, and the beautiful journey of building something meaningful one day at a time.
This page is where all those worlds meet.
If you’re new here, welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. Tell me where you’re following from and what brought you to my little corner of the internet.

Alhamdulillah, our Adult Madrasah has officially begun.
Today, I had my first session with my teacher. I recited from Suratul Fātiḥah to Suratun-Nās, and when I got to Suratul Falaq, my Tajweed lesson began from there. Despite having memorised up to Suratul Mulk, I am starting again from the beginning and that's the beauty of seeking proper knowledge and correct recitation.
Alhamdulillah, we already have 3 pupils on this journey. May Allah make it beneficial and easy for us all. Aameen.
Registration is still ongoing.
