You can’t narrow it down to just one memory when we’ve made so many. I know that when Log In and Friends and Org come online, it’s going to be a great time.
Most of my favorite memories are the moments when we rally the Org and our friends and do amazing things together. Some of them will always stick with me:
• Our first Daymar Rally
• Our first Hathor laser
• Our first Apex Worm
• The first time we grinded for and pulled the Wikelo Idris
There are very few games where you can do things together on this scale. Keep working on #StarCitizen, and don’t forget the community that loves playing in your sandbox.
Good luck to everyone trying to win the Connie!
@enderprize reporting that Malestorm in #squadron42 has an impact on FPS Armor, like Armor pieces breaking away.
Do you guys think this feature will make the transition to #starcitzen? i highly doubt this will work for player armor in PVP.

its about time, #starcitizen players felt abbandoned and ignored while Devs where mostly focusing on #squadron42 - wrap it up guys.
(Text Wall Warning.)
This is the most important question that I had as well. And I can't obviously tell you with 100% confidence, but I could tell you at least why I'M 99% confident. (And I've never been this confident in CIG's ability to do anything.)
I personally asked Benoit this specific question. "After Squadron 42 is released, will you continue to have development split amongst "Squadron 42 Chapter 2"? Or will you make the priority a push for 1.0?"
His response was, "We're going to make a push for 1.0."
Another very important thing that both Benoit and Rich Tyrer said, and ill paraphrase. "we want to take everything from Squadron 42 and begin adding it to Star Citizen" Now, when they said everything, I see through the bullshit in that you can't literally take everything. But the fact that they said that means that they want to take as much as they can. I personally don't think that they can achieve everything just because of the nature of it being an online game. There's going to be some sort of compromises. like your Idris is never going to look like the Idris and squadron 42. It's never going to have that many NPCs running around inside of it, exercising and having conversations and doing all this random stuff that makes you believe you're in a living, breathing universe, at least not to that scale.
As far as when the game is going to be ready, let me explain to you why I actually believe they will get it released in Q2 of 2027. On the third day, Yogi and Sylvan were allowing people to playtest Squadron 42 in two different MonsterTech/SteamFrame sim pits that they had setup. The internal dev build of the game that we all played has a menu that the devs can pull up to queue up any mission, even down to the checkpoint within each mission. That dev screen was extensive and overwhelming. If I had to guess, there's probably over 30 chapters to the game. And not only did I see that list of chapters and their checkpoints, But they proceeded to actually queue up the checkpoints that were good demonstrations for a simpit demonstration. And my fucking mind was blown. I think during my playthrough and then watching a few people who got to play after me, I would say that I've seen about six to eight ship combat missions. And every single one of them blew my mind. We're talking trench runs, low-flying combat, atmospheric flight, regular space flight through asteroids and debris fields, dust clouds. And people were playing it with NO issues.
This dev menu that I'm mentioning is something that has so many spoilers in it that they actually had to wall that section off from anybody using their cameras after they gave us back our phones. Because if you actually took the time to read them all, it would spoil the game for a lot of people. I never read them because I didn't want any spoilers, but I just skimmed over it and we're able to get all of the information that I need to know for now.
The game is like playing through an epic sci-fi movie.
There was no indication that any of the chapters that I saw on screen were incomplete. They're ready to queue up. I believe you can play through Squadron 42 right now today from start to finish. The only thing that's preventing them from releasing it is polishing it and the GTA VI media buzz. And in my opinion, it doesn't need that much polish at all. When I say bugs, I'm not talking about the bugs that I encountered because I didn't encounter very many bugs at all. And every single bug that I did encounter, all I had to do was just reset the checkpoint and it was fine. I'm also including bugs that other people said that they had.
Another example of polish, there were portions of the missions where people were getting stuck because they didn't really know what to do and they just need to do what most game development studios do and hire game testers to go through and and play the game to point out bugs and where they might have gotten stuck and stuff like that. Just normal, common video game development, QA testing and polishing.
Part of me thinks that based on how valuable our feedback was to them after this play test, I'm willing to bet they'll invite more people to play it, whether it be in person or in Evocati to maybe do a few chapters and give their feedback on it and just kind of randomize it. I would personally decline an invite to play the entire game because I want to play it when it's finished. But I will gladly try out three random chapters to give feedback so that they can make sure that the game is as good as it can be.
@DaPoets@SandiRoberts42 ty for the clarification of the interview. the combination of playlengh and talking about speedrun it made me think its the full thing can be speedruned in 5 hours.
Do i understand this right?
@DaPoets released a vid, @SandiRoberts42 is saying in this vid that some of the participants finished #squadron42 in a 5 hour playtest.
better get that #starcitizen finished cause sq42 probably dont entertain for long

Are you buing this?
The Details on the Armorset are quite ok, but I definately dont give @RobertsSpaceInd credit for the M80 Paint included in the bundle. Comparing it in detail to the Armor this looks slopy poor like somebody just draged an PNG over the M80 #starcitizen
Stand strong against heavy fire before returning your own with this armor, weapon, and ship paint pack, featuring:
🟡 Kilgore and Poole Monolith heavy armor
🟡 Gemini R97 ‘Runic’ Shotgun

@greasykhaleesii@FelicioJRicardo@MoistCr1TiKaL do you think anyone take on his "quanta" work? It was such a huge thing and nobody talks about it anymore.
Did we got an official statement from CIG that its still worked on or dropped or are they just trolling us for years XD?
