@GoodGameKofi TES6 should come out very early next gen, I don't see them tanking the sales of one of their most important releases ever, but it will depend on how suicidal they feel close to launch lol
@oliver_drk They probably could use data from Starfield for this, the theory that they are sending Gears to die to prove they need to stay multiplatform doesn't make much sense...
@Junksterrr Literally the same art direction as the Spider-Man games, just gorier.
You don't seem to understand that the segment they showed takes place in broad daylight and strong direct lighting means less shadows, which makes the models look more flat.
@SilentHillDude1 Gears 5 sold so poorly that they scrapped their plans for Gears 6 and decided to work on a prequel to take advantage of fan service.
That was on an install base of 60M XBO consoles, now there are around 35M XBS consoles, and most of those users simply use Game Pass.
@JezCorden Exclusivity doesn't make an IP relevant, and Gears hasn't been relevant since Gears 3. Master Chief and Halo are and will always be their mascot franchise, and they should really focus in bringing the IP to the front and center again.
@kindabradatthis Phil Spencer wasn't releasing games on other platforms because he was a nice guy lol, it was because of Microsoft's pressure for growth after the Activision aquisition, and they weren't finding it in Xbox and Game Pass.
@GoodGameKofi Multiplat is definetly the best decision for the franchise itself, but exclusivity is the best decision for the console business. Whether that console business can still be saved is a different story, we'll see
@dfresh177@ChipzAhoy4@Wario64 FH6 is selling great, but definetly not 6-7 millions when it's at ~2.5M on Steam, do you really think it sold 4M on Xbox?
