I wound up meeting with a Director who came in huffing and puffing.
The Director said “We should know when users leave their house, their commute to work, and everywhere they go throughout the day. Anything less is useless. We get a lot more than that from other tech companies.”
I have an idea for a movie.
It’s called the notwithstanding claus. A politician has to become Santa. But Instead of giving boys and girls gifts he takes them away then forces the children to work minimum wage in his friends coal mine.
Nobody learns any lessons.
Tax cuts are literally propaganda designed to get you to loose faith in government spending and social safety programs in favour of increasing corporate tax breaks and bailouts.
The end result of lower taxes is higher spending from government to try and make up the difference.
Also when services are shifted from the public to private sectors, those services tend to get pruned as investors try to maximize profit through reducing redundancies (such as jobs viewed as non essential or services that don’t generate revenue.) Prices go up and services drop.
@KronasAD Sorry to hear. It’s hard when family. I believe anyone can grow and become better, but it’s a long hard process built on patience and understanding. I hope he comes around for you too.
It’s really hard when you finally have to admit to yourself that your don’t like one of your parents.
Love you dad but you’re a bigot. You drank the kool-aid and now I don’t want anything to do with you I hope one day you come around and stop judging others by their race/gender
