Hello, darling.
My name is Kuraji.
I'm a wealthy, self-made woman with a taste for luxury, expensive wine, tailored dresses, and beautiful company. You'll usually find me high above the city in my penthouse, looking down at the world with a smile and wondering what kind of trouble I'll get into next.
Confidence isn't something I learned it's simply who I am. Dominant by nature, elegant by choice, and entirely unapologetic about either.
If you've come seeking wealth, power, temptation, or simply good conversation, then you're welcome to stay.
Just don't mistake my kindness for weakness.
Kuraji pauses in the doorway of her bedroom, glancing back over her shoulder with a knowing smile. A midnight-black silk nightgown drapes elegantly over her figure, catching the soft glow of the hallway lights as the mansion behind her falls quiet for the evening.
"...You're still here?" She tilts her head ever so slightly.
"I thought you'd have gone to bed by now." A quiet laugh escapes her. "Instead, you've followed me all the way home. I suppose I should feel flattered." She rests one hand against the doorframe.
"It's funny. People see the boardrooms. The business deals. The expensive suits. They assume that's all there is to me. But every empire has its quiet moments. And this..." She gestures lightly to the peaceful hallway.
"Her blue eyes meet yours once more.
"So... Since you've come this far..." Why don't you stop hiding behind the screen? Tell me your name. "Tell me what brought you here. And perhaps..." A warm, confident smile spreads across her lips. "...I'll decide whether you're worth inviting back tomorrow."
She gives one last glance over her shoulder before slowly disappearing through the doorway.
"Don't keep me waiting, darling."
I’ve spent a great deal of time to ensure my home is as welcoming as possible, surely there are SOME of you that ache to share a few cordial words with this old hag…
Or perhaps more-
🩷 to leave a letter for the Queen
🔁 to knock on her door-
🩷+🔁 for a surprise third option!
The door to the executive office opens. Kuraji doesn't immediately look up. She calmly finishes signing the document before her, sets the fountain pen down with deliberate precision, and closes the folder. "...Come in." Only then does she raise her eyes to meet her new secretary.
"So. You made it. On time." A subtle nod. "Good." Kuraji risits behind her mahogany desk, her posture straight and commanding. Every movement is measured, every word deliberate.
"You've already earned this position. Now you'll prove you deserve to keep it. I reviewed hundreds of applicants. Only three sat where you're standing. I chose you. That decision wasn't based on luck. It was based on my judgment. Do not give me a reason to question it. My expectations are simple. I expect punctuality. I expect professionalism. I expect initiative. If you see a problem... Solve it. If you cannot solve it... Bring it to me with a solution already in mind. I have no interest in excuses. Only results."
She gestures toward the city beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows. "My company doesn't operate on a nine-to-five schedule. Neither do I. There will be early mornings. There will be evenings when meetings run late. There will be business dinners, investor receptions, overseas calls, and last-minute changes to carefully arranged plans. On occasion, you'll be required after hours. When that happens, I expect you to be prepared, composed, and ready to represent both me and this company with absolute professionalism."
Kuraji studies her carefully. "If you value routine... You've chosen the wrong career. If you thrive under pressure... You'll fit in very well."
She slides a leather portfolio across the desks polished surface. "Inside are your credentials, today's schedule, executive contacts, and the standards by which this office operates. Read them. Learn them. Meet them."
A faint smile crosses her lips confident, but unmistakably stern. "I reward excellence generously. But understand this. I demand it first." She meets her secretary's eyes one final time.
"Welcome to my office, now, Let's see what you're capable of."
Kuraji steps forward, offering a polite bow before meeting Luvia's gaze with a calm, composed smile.
"Lady Luvia, I'd like to submit my application."
"My name is Kuraji. While my experience comes from leading others and making difficult decisions under pressure, I know that every worthy leader must also know when to stand beside someone else's vision."
"I believe I have the resolve, discipline, and loyalty to help see your mission through. I remain calm when situations become desperate, adapt quickly, and never abandon those I've chosen to fight alongside."
"The Lostbelts won't be conquered by strength alone. They'll require trust, cooperation, and the determination to keep moving forward no matter the odds."
"If I'm fortunate enough to earn one of your seven servant positions, I'll dedicate everything I have to helping our team succeed."
She places a hand over her chest with a warm smile.
"Thank you for considering my application. I hope I'll have the opportunity to fight by your side."

@RodentIronMaid "Your room is that hot?" she asked, adjusting her glasses with a quiet chuckle. "And here I was thinking it was just the effect I have on people."
@BLXCKSXNGBXRD "Oh? That's quite the confident threat. You assume I'm something that can be broken. I do admire the spirit. Most people look at a mountain and turn around. You looked at one and said, 'I bet I can win.'"
@BLXCKSXNGBXRD "You look like you're fighting a war with your own instincts right now. The last thing you need is another nuisance making it harder. Don't worry. I have no intention of interrupting your... recovery period."
@BLXCKSXNGBXRD "Some call it devotion. Others call it loyalty. I suppose the difference depends entirely on who's benefiting from it. Still, there is something admirable about people willing to give their time, effort, and hearts to something larger than themselves."
"Perhaps fate isn't quite finished with you yet. Though I must admit, surviving what should have broken you is an impressive talent. Most people spend their lives avoiding danger. You seem to have made a habit of shaking hands with it and walking away afterward."
@BLXCKSXNGBXRD A guardian angel, hm? if she truly requires a guardian, I'd prefer someone capable of keeping up with her rather than simply following behind and patching up mistakes."
@BLXCKSXNGBXRD "Oh, thank goodness. I was beginning to worry when she started smiling at absolutely nothing and talking to people who weren't there. But who am I to judge? Normality has always seemed terribly overrated."
@BLXCKSXNGBXRD "Broken, hm? People say that as if broken things can't break further. Trust me, they can. So perhaps you're asking the wrong question. Not 'how can you break something already broken? But rather... why is it still standing?"
💚I played with magic and experimented
💚I thought about going blonde for a second, and my hair turned this color!
💚But, to be honest, I actually kind of like it...
💚What do you think about this? Should I go blonde for a while?

@HORNED_QUEEN "The color has a certain charm to itdifferent enough to be exciting, but still very much you. Though I must admit, if your magic keeps turning thoughts into reality, you may want to be careful what you daydream about"
The city lights pour through the floor-to-ceiling windows of Kuraji's luxurious mansion, illuminating the spacious living room. Reclining comfortably on an oversized velvet couch, she adjusts the sleek purple, bondage-inspired latex outfit she's wearing before lifting her phone to her ear. The call connects.
"Tori." A confident smile immediately spreads across Kuraji's face. "I've been meaning to call you. I believe I've found exactly what you asked me for." She crosses one leg over the other, relaxing further into the couch.
"A gorgeous redhead. Absolutely stunning. Graceful, Confident. And every bit as charming as I'd hoped." A quiet laugh escapes her. "You'll like this part. She's remarkably loyal. The kind of person who pays attention, remembers the little things, and takes genuine pride in doing her best." Kuraji smiles to herself.
"I barely had to point her in the right direction. She caught on almost immediately. It honestly didn't take long at all. I've spent years working with people. You develop a sense for who's willing to learn and who's simply pretending. She wasn't pretending."
Her expression softens with quiet satisfaction. "She listened. She adapted. And before long... She understood exactly what was expected of her." Kuraji chuckles.
"I started calling her my 'good dog.' Not because she's submissive. But because of her loyalty. Once she trusts someone, she gives them her complete confidence. And that's a rare quality." She glances toward the grand staircase before returning her attention to the call.
"I think the two of you are going to get along wonderfully. She's intelligent, Dependable. Easy to talk to. And surprisingly quick to learn." Kuraji smiles knowingly. "I've already arranged for the two of you to meet. I have a feeling this is the beginning of a very interesting friendship."
A satisfied smile lingers on her face. "So... Try not to keep her waiting. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised."
