Last Friday, participants competed in a series of Pi memorization contests and the winner from each homeroom competed in the final round today. Each grade level winner won the chance to “Pi” a teacher of their choice! (2/2)

Over the last few weeks, our Middle School Geniuses have been preparing for our Pi Day Celebration! Partnering and practicing with their parents and families, they started memorizing the digits of Pi. Some used clever songs or poems to help them along the way. (1/2)

Genius Awakening happens at recess too! Regular exercise improves mental function and academic performance. An analysis of studies that focused specifically on recess found positive associations between physical activity and the ability to concentrate in class.
