.@Beer_Works at @loganairports wouldn’t serve me a beer b/c my license is expired. I showed the bartender a temporary LEGAL license document that states my age and got me through TSA... yet not good enough to prove my age? I don’t look THAT young. I won’t be returning EVER.
For real? @Apple makes me wait almost a month for a battery that I HAVE in order for my phone to work properly...and I have 1 wk to pick it up...or else they will "release the part for use in other repairs". #somebullshit
Have your agent submit the tape to casting for you unless you have different specific instructions for uploading (like a link). Your agent should be the one in charge of all communication with casting unless you have been called in directly!
Label your self-tape with YOUR NAME and the project. When I get 20 tapes that are all labeled "Role of Sara" how am I supposed to know who is who? Your name is your calling card!! Use it!
Do not post your audition to Youtube!! We work with sensitive information and we don't want it on a site like this. We also will generally need it in some kind of downloadable format. Vimeo and Hightail are all great programs!
Allow your agent to contact casting and get the go ahead. Once you have the green light, you should assume your tape is due by the original audition appointment time unless you have been told otherwise.
If you cannot make your audition for some reason (illness, out of town, working on another project) do not automatically assume you have missed your chance. Ask your agent if the casting office will accept a self-tape.
