Please read and share. ❗️Genocide is the intention to destroy a group as such❗️Using a 'triple lens approach' allows to easily understand it. All is needed is looking at:
➡️the totality of conduct (which may include either crimes per se - killing, torture, forced displacement, etc - or acts conducive to crimes),
➡️against the totality of the group (e.g. Israel treats any Palestinian, old or young, as a security threat, arrestable or even killable, which facilitates all manners of unlawful conduct and justification thereof);
➡️in the totality of the land (the entire occupied Palestinian territory, namely what Israel claims sovereignty on and where Palestinians 'must' be uprooted/eliminated).

Far from being 'a novel approach', what I propose is common sense, based on int'l law and jurisprudence.

There are many ways in which Israel is destroying the Palestinians in Gaza. Creating unsustainable and inhumane conditions of life is the most complex and cruel.

Do not call it "war". It is a genocide. The motives are irrelevant. The intent (ie the determination) to destroy is evident and unequivocal. As unequivocal is the complicity of others states.

@DivebumChef @VeteransENG_CA I flagged this over 2 years ago when the costs in the Toronto area surpassed what VAC/BlueCross would cover. They raised the amount but did not match or keep up with what psych visits charge, especially for more senior/experiences psychologists. I'm currently paying $40/visit.
