Using natural materials to reduce bank erosion helps nature by reducing sediment entering the river, providing homes for fish like salmonids, eels and lamprey. We installed this green banking as part of @CallandersLand. Was looking great when we paid it a visit last week.

A great evening learning about the universe, despite the cloudy conditions. 🌧️ We learned about cosmic coincidences, black holes, solar eclipses and explored the night sky using Stellarium. Now to get ready for the family event on Saturday, 12-4pm at @mclarenleisure.
