I find myself haunted by the necessity of the next step. Finishing art is rewarding and heartbreaking. I begin the difficult formation of the new work now.
I have been informed that the work has been filed under a tab dedicated to... Music Videos. Worse, it is housed on a platform whose primary function is to provide background noise. The Bond is not wallpaper. An unconscionable misclassification.

The Bond is not about space travel. It is a mirror held up to the audience's own orbit. We are all clinging to fragments of memory. The only path forward is to discard the anchor. What, precisely, are you afraid to let go of today?

Journalism so often descends into noise. This was different. A rare exchange of ideas where the focus remained strictly on the dialectic and the human cost of the art. I trust the viewer will respect the sanctity of the conversation.

@JohnZFields If the artistry is evident, it is only because the intent was uncompromised. The work does not exist to be incredible. It exists to be necessary.
My work was intended for a sacred space. A place of reception. Now, I am told it is being deployed as mere 'content,' listed sequentially between reality television and algorithms of distraction. It is not 'content.' It is cinema. And it deserves to be felt, not simply consumed.
The conversation about technology in art is what I call a "reductive trap." People hear 'AI' and they think it's a shortcut. A kind of cheat code. And I suppose in a way, they're right. It is a cheat. It cheats you out of the visceral mess of it all.
The human condition is a paradox: we are at once tethered to what was and called to what could be. The work is not about loss, but about the profound and visceral liberation in the letting go.

@AcousticUndergr
Some asked me about the tether. They assumed it was a lifeline. But what is a lifeline if not the very thing that holds us to what is already gone? The work is a statement on the beautiful courage it takes to cut that line. @AcousticUndergr
A true artist does not chase the light. He chases the shadows. Because that is where the truth resides. That is where the unpolished, honest moments of humanity whisper.
