@MichaelDavis015 I don't know your point, you didn't present one? All you said was that brazil lost against germany in a humiliating way, so what? I asked you to back your claims with evidence, not to ad hominem a country??? XD
@MichaelDavis015 But! Yes, "a few denied visas" is going to affect the event, the problem isn't just the denying, USA extreme border patrol and unstable political situation is what deems it an unsuitable host for the WC. It does have the physical, but lacks the social part of the infrastructure.
@MichaelDavis015 I never moved from my point, you brought brazil's hosting, thus i answered. Germany was the champion and it was a remarkable match, what's your point...?
@MichaelDavis015 Fifa made a great profit in brazil, so what? did they choose only the profit above everything else involving the tournament? did it affect the overall experience of the event? it didn't. If you're able to provide evidence that proves me wrong, i'm all ears.
@MichaelDavis015 "One of", never said "The", please, do not distort my sayings.
And, did i reject your claims about the WC leading to internal issues? What i said is: They didn't affect the tournament.
@MichaelDavis015 Also, it's wacky to say this, as the country was one of the best hosts of all time, can't say anything about brazil when it comes to football, heh
@MichaelDavis015 Yeah, hard infrastructure, for sure, but soft? i guess not. I don't think it's going to stop the tournament, but it will affect for sure, many political scandals to come
@BroElfbar216769@JohnSteadmann@maurojxrge@michelonismo he's one of the most capable referees out there, was crowned the best african referee in the past year. it isn't only him tbh, they're also being very strict on journalists, players, other referees... his case was the one that got more attention because of his prestige.
@BroElfbar216769@JohnSteadmann@maurojxrge@michelonismo There's physical and social infrastructure, two distinct sections that make what we call infrastructure, usa fails at the social half. And yes, the middle west is also a problem.
@BroElfbar216769@JohnSteadmann@maurojxrge@michelonismo That's the problem. A country that won't receive the tournament organizers, say what, ain't capable of hosting the tournament XD.
"Accommodation and hospitality", the ai talks about the hotels, but obviously, the terms cited included many things.
@BroElfbar216769@JohnSteadmann@maurojxrge@michelonismo Really? The country deports the best arbiter of a continent without proper reason, harasses the players in interrogatories, do god knows what to the visitors, and you're looking only at the hotels?
https://t.co/1LPsJpe7xF
@MichaelDavis015 This is part of the infrastructure... a country being capable of receiving the visitors is also part of it. USA is a big country, in normal circumstances it would host it normally, as it already did in 1994, but the political situation is affecting the tournament directly.
@BroElfbar216769@JohnSteadmann@maurojxrge@michelonismo Everything, the capability of the country to receive not only the organization, but the people, is also infrastructure. As of the last sentence, go trash talk elsewhere if you're incapable of discussing in a civilized manner, i'm not your papa to educate you.
@JohnSteadmann@maurojxrge@michelonismo and the usa does? mistreating the players, not allowing fifa arbiters to enter the country, football is not a heavy culture in the country, and the stadiums aren't the best either...
