The first batch of MSc course on Freshwater Ecology and Conservation was completed successfully at the National Centre for River Research at WII Dehradun. The students shared their experience and aspirations with NMCG in a meeting held at Delhi on 27th July.

The Ganga Praharis at Dumduma, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, rescued a Checkered Keelback Snake, a freshwater, non-venomous snake. The snake got tangled in the fishing net. It was safely released in the river.
