I wish to remind the @Europarl_EN that it may have jurisdiction over Greenland, Aruba or New Caledonia but it has NO (and will NEVER have) jurisdiction over the Republic of Rwanda, which is a country that recovered its independence from European colonisation more than sixty years ago.

🔴South Kivu: In the aftermath of AFC/M23 withdrawal from #Uvira, DRC Government kills 5 civilians in #Sange, abducts 2 women in #Uvira, drops 34 bombs in #Minembwe

- #Sange: on January 29, DRC government coalition launched a grenade attack in the center of Sange, town located 35 kms from #Uvira, killing 5 civilians and injuring many.

- #Uvira: following AFC/M23 withdrawal, Uvira residents are subjected to daily attacks, and acts of intimidation by Wazalendo and other elements of the DRC Government coalition. Following targeted attacks and destruction of property, Uvira residents, particularly members of the Banyamulenge community and those accused of not sympathizing with the Wazalendo and DRC Government, are forced to hide, fearing acts of reprisal since the withdrawal of AFC/M23. 2 Banyamulenge women were abducted by the DRC Government militias Wazalendo.

- #Minembwe: On January 29, DRC Government coalition (#FARDC, #FDNB, Wazalendo, mercenaries) launched several drone attacks on #PointZero (at the outskirts of Minembwe). 34 bombs were dropped in one day.

The DRC-Government launched attacks, which have resulted in the death of civilians, are a violation of the #Washington and #Doha peace agreements.

No "neutral force" has been deployed so far by the international community in order to protect civilians in #Uvira, currently under occupation by DRC government-supported militias Wazalendo and Mai-Mai, by UN-sanctioned warlords including #Yakutumba, the UN-sanctioned genocidal force #FDLR, the Burundian genocidal militia #Imbonerakure, and foreign mercenaries, in violation of the UN prohibition on the use of mercenaries.

Today, a delegation of Namibian MPs from the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence & Security visited the Rwanda Military Referral and Teaching Hospital (RMRTH) where they toured healthcare facilities and held discussions with the leadership of the Hospital.
