A company linked to a major donor for President Donald Trump's $350 million White House ballroom project received authorization from the Treasury Department to complete an acquisition involving a sanctioned Russian bank, according to public records. https://t.co/E9rULVswYN
NEW: The presidential TV pool has been suspended as networks react to the White House's ongoing ban of CNN.
That means, for now, that no major TV network will provide coverage of Trump's events, including today's appearances at the WH and his trip to the United Nations.
I just want to point out… the amount of money the U.S. has spent on war in the last 2.5 months is roughly the same cost that Bernie Sanders proposed for universal college. So the real question is never ‘can we afford it’… it’s what we choose to prioritize.
Sean Sharaf ended off his interview by saying Free Palestine after a stunning 12 second KO at UFC 331 🙏🇵🇸
“Free Palestine, the people are hurting out there. We just want to see them free.”
O'DONNELL: Freedom of the press is enshrined in the First Amendment. Are you trying to intimidate the press from doing its job?
TRUMP: No. I dislike dishonest press, like you. I think you're terrible.
Today’s action revoking access for journalists from CNN, POLITICO, and MSNOW violates the First Amendment. The implications extend beyond these organizations: a standard used to exclude one news outlet because of its coverage could be applied to any outlet in the future. The American people, through a free and independent press, must be able to scrutinize those elected to power, regardless of whether government officials view it favorably. That’s why courts have repeatedly held that once the White House provides access to journalists, it cannot deny that access arbitrarily or based on the content of their reporting. The WHCA calls on the administration to immediately restore our colleagues' access.
