For those moaning about the England squad, my question is how many of those players in the squad can you say there isn’t a reason for selecting? Coaches have their reasons. It’s not about pleasing people, it’s about believing you’ve made the right choice, and that’s TT’s job.

Palmer different position to Hendo altogether.
Wharton/Mainoo probably one or the other, no fussed either way.
MGW incredibly unfortunate to miss out

Henderson = leader, experience, knows his role, no media bullshit.
Mainoo = outstanding in the last few months.
Madueke = between him and Bowen and NM done more for England IMO
Toney = 119th min sub for pens.

That VAR debacle is the proof we needed. It’s the PEOPLE officiating that are incompetent in our league, not the tech. The on field referee clearly thinks he’s right when VAR say otherwise, when he isn’t, so they’re just not up to the job #nffc

@iainrandall7 I’d say if it was the other way around I would also say no penalty. But there is no way of controlling the ball without the use of the arm, which is the only way a goal was possible without the ball running away to a forest player. I see your point, but it’s a pen 😂

Let’s have it right, Villa and Emery are far superior to Forest and Pereira. Too many key injuries against a proper team who were always going to respond after last week’s shambles against Spurs. Villa too good #nffc

Life as a coach eh? Villa make big changes to the team, they don’t show up. Forest do the same, outstanding performance. We all agree Emery is a better coach than Pereira, so what is it down to? Player attitude - who REALLY wants it and shows up on the day. #nffc #avfc

Has everyone forgotten Igor Jesus’ performance vs City earlier in the season? And now they’ve written him off to instead start Taiwo? Honestly, baffled. I don’t hate Taiwo but come on, give it some thought. We’ll need them both, but Jesus has to start for me #nffc

@Nffc1973notts Of course it has something to do with who is up front, works 2 ways. OH put 2 great crosses in last night and Lucca was nowhere near where he was meant to be. My point is, it’s so harsh to write him off already. He gives the ball away trying to be positive, I’m ok with that.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I still think McAtee can be a good player for us. It doesn’t matter what wingers we play if we have Lucca to work with in the 9 position. McAtee needs an intelligent Wood-like striker to work with, not a lump! #nffc
