With the withdrawal of the KC-10 from the USAF service approaching shortly, today was possibly the last time that we see this tri hauler touchdown on Scottish soil or even the UK for the final time.

Here is the KC-10 coming into Prestwick from Al Udeid as “GOLD41” yesterday.

Well I never thought that I would see the 160th SOAR over here in Scotland, especially with their huge and bulky MH-47G’s Chinooks!
