Very happy with this signing. Seem very sensible, well scouted, with PL experience and a fee that allows us to keep strengthening in other areas also.

Being 2nd fiddle to Caicedo & Fernandez is very similar to how Cole Palmer was playing 2nd fiddle to KDB, Foden, Silva & Co... and we all saw how that turned out when he got his chance to flourish - hopefully Santos will do the same with us.

Another Brazilian, with 1 Brazilian leaving and 2 arriving, Cunha & his new midfield friends will be samba dancing and tearing up the PL & CL before you know it!

It feels like we are building a team of the correct profiles and not ego's, big wages & Galactico's - I'm happy with this.
Arsenal showed recently this is the proper way to squad build with similar signings that helped them to the title and a CL final.

Whats even better - not a single journalist or ITK or anyone had us heavily linked with Andrey until 3 days ago - goes to show most of them are full of shit and have no idea who we are in for and who we are not. Maybe its time to stop hanging off every single word they say like they've hacked Christian Vivell's phone.

We will sign a 3rd midfielder, no idea when and no idea the profile but I'm super calm - we are squad building well on top of a team foundation that comfortably finished 3rd last season - plenty more signings to come this summer...
