Thank you, @CallumJohnson06
After 3 seasons in our midfield, 81 appearances, 65 starts, and 5,500+ minutes, Callum Johnson has decided to retire from professional soccer as he hangs up his boots as a One Knoxville SC Champion to close his professional career.
Drafted 42nd overall by LA Galaxy in 2022 after winning a National Championship at Clemson, Callum became a cornerstone on the pitch and a leader in our locker room.
More than the stats, we’re grateful for the culture he shaped and the legacy he leaves behind.
A legend here forever and always at home in Knoxville.

He came to America from Dakar, Senegal. Learned to speak English by watching The Lion King and Happy Feet. Went from Monteverde Academy in Orlando to Clemson University. Graduated and won the MAC Hermann Trophy. Congrats to Ousmane Sylla…living an American (soccer) dream. 🇺🇸⚽️
The moment!
Ousmane Sylla solidified himself as a Clemson and College soccer legend tonight.
Amazing way to cap off his career as a Tiger.
