I don’t think there’s anyone on this planet that feels like an invincible fighter. The only one - Jon Jones. Jones boxing skills are dogshit, he’d get finished by Usyk in a few rounds. This wouldn’t be a Rico shock performance, he’d get dealt with. No need to do it!
"Why would Jon Jones ruin his mystique of being the baddest man to ever live, just to get beat for a few quid in a boxing match, it'd be farcical."
Do you agree with Dave Allen when he says a boxing loss to Usyk would tarnish Jon's combat legacy? 🤔 #HelwaniShow
🚨 Oleksandr Usyk just announced that he will be vacating all of his titles before competing in one final ‘Last Dance’ fight
“I want to make [my belts] available so the guys who are next in line can fight for them.
I’m leaving the belts, but I’m not leaving the sport. I still have my ‘Last Dance’.”

You’d think fighter safety would be priceless for a sport like MMA. UFC is worth between $10b-$20b. After seeing what has happened to their Heavyweight champion you’d think this would be a priority really.
Dana White squashes Trevor Wittman's comments to Joe Rogan about a looming deal for new UFC gloves.
"They wanted like $100 million for the gloves. ... We'll fight in the Coliseum before that deal gets done."
The UFC’s production and fights were far and away the better product. The best fighters will always be in the UFC, whether that’s a good thing or not I don’t know…
Oh God there’s a few things here… he had no fighting background at all. He was getting booed in 1996/97, Pride started in late ‘97 and definitely weren’t offering that money. He was NEVER EVER going to leave WWE for MMA because he’s never said this before😂
The Rock says he was making $150,000 wrestling 235 days a year and nearly left WWE for MMA
"at that time I was making $150,000 wrestling 235 days a year"
"do the math of that and how much you're making per match"
"these guys over in Pride are making 250, 350, 500"
"I don't think I'm going to make it in WWE, people are booing me out of the arenas"
"maybe I should train to MMA and go to Pride and make money, real money"
"these fans are booing me over here for 150 grand"
This should be in the UK but at this point just make the fight. It’s not about Hearn, White or Warren. Get the fight made and preferably in the UK. If Fury wants it enough he’ll do it in the UK aswell… maybe a rematch in the states.
It now looks like Tyson Fury v Anthony Joshua is heading to the US but that will need contracts to be renegotiated so it is not a done deal yet. As reported last week, Joshua's contract states UK venue. Explainer for @TheAthletic

He’s made some good points the last few days and it’s refreshing to see him question the company. They did that on Sunday, production was unbelievable… why can’t they do more of that for ppv’s and make them feel different?
Conor McGregor: What was it in cash that they had after last year's take? $1.4B or something in cash profit? There should be live music every fucking show. There should be a full fucking spectacle every show...You want Super Bowl numbers every week. Not just once every fucking three years.

Herb Dean had a stinker on Sunday. I get a couple of shots can be caught on the back of the head when there’s lots of movement, but he missed 10+ to the back of the head. That and allowing Lewis to take shots when he got dropped by Hokit was ridiculous!
That’s the walkout of the year and one of the best ever. I thought after last night from the pre-fight promo package all the way to the post-fight interview he came across as the biggest star of last night #UFCFreedom250
Thought the UFC had their biggest night ever and it couldn’t have gone better. All knockout finishes, brilliant setting, brilliant moments and it went off without a hitch. 10/10 for them and exactly what they needed after a dull start to the year imo!
Finally got round to watching #UFCFreedom250. Good performances from Lopes, Nickal and Ruffy (Chandler should call it a day). Josh Hokit should fight for an interim title if Aspinall isn’t ready (Lewis should also call it a day)…
They both landed big shots, Gaethje was just bigger and a much harder puncher. I think Gaethje could easily call it a day now. Done it all and can get out with the biggest win of his career and let the division just play out. Maybe Arman and Topuria for a vacant title…
Really good point this. No legends of the sport who helped get the UFC to this point were shown. Tom Aspinall wasn’t there to watch Gane/Pereira. None of the current talent were showcased in the crowd.
So it’s confirmed DC put up the post. Why would Cormier post screenshots of AI generated DM’s which he’s involved in? They’re saying he posted fake messages of a conversation he’s involved in. He would know he didn’t have that conversation and wouldn’t post it.
