@MichaelDell@Dell Anyways it's a really great book about a really inspiring guy, and you can really learn a lot from it. I highly recommend you give it a read.
Just finished reading "Play Nice But Win" by @MichaelDell and really did enjoy it and got a lot out of it. His story is a shining example of the old adage "Persistence Pays". Mr. Dell hit many huge roadblocks on his journey that he could have let stop him in his tracks.
@MichaelDell@Dell ... made my first website using it, and it jettisoned me to the place I am now running my own technology company, making money, and having fun. Back then, @Dell priced their computers in a way that even a little broke kid living in the sticks like me could enter the game.
@Cato1974 It's also good to keep track of your P/L as you do these things and re-think your profit targets as technically some adjustments are simply taking a loss while keeping the spread open in hopes to cover the losses with a future win.
Been reading Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins. It's an excellent story and a true testament to the fact that most of us really don't know what we are capable of as well as what it truly takes to be great.
@Cato1974 Yes you can do that for sure. When it comes to second, third, fourth, etc... adjustments it's really up to you if you want to keep running around with the spread. The thing to remember is as you noted in your other reply, you do need to remove the other fly from the other end.
Anyways it's an awesome book and everyone should read it or better yet listen to it on Audible. David Goggins speaks the hard truth and gives you that hard to swallow pill that you need!
He also touches on the myth of "motivation" and how fleeting that mindset is. Being motivated is not an edge, you truly need to be psychotically obsessed with what you are doing if you truly want to be great at it.
Hope everyone is having a great and relaxing weekend. I am about to take a red eye to the east coast to see family and friends and I am really looking forward to it!
