The ultimate goal is to graduate successfully… challenges will always be there… BUT you must rise above them. Passmark to get on the list is 50%.
Do not lose hope, THE LIST begins from 50. Hunt down that 50.
To all students doing orals @LDC_Uganda this week, our prayers are with you.
Please take note, the orals are meant to test your knowledge of the law and practice and not meant to fail u.
So don’t panic, be confident that a question will come from what you read. Remember, you can’t predict what u will be asked, so sala puleesa.
Ensure you have covered all the learning outcomes. If the question is direct and you know the answer, don’t kupapa to answer. First think through and in a calm manner tell the panel what your answer is. Some questions may result in follow up questions, so be prepared for that as well.
What happens when you don’t know the answer: try to think through the question in your head and see under what learning outcome is such a question, you will discover the answer or something closer.
Even if the orals are considered a war, don’t give the devil a chance: fight like you are the first in line on the front line.
Have courage and be kind.
I see you!
You are not absent.
You are fighting.
Struggling so that your kids don’t have to.
You’re carrying people who don’t even know they are being carried.
May God grant you the breakthrough that will allow you to spend more time with your kids.
May their mother be your shelter, not another battle.
May your children, when they grow up and understand the price of things, look back and say —
Taata yatulwanirira.
Our father fought for us.
Happy Father’s Day my guy!
Interning in good law firms>>>>>
I receive stipends and also when ever I do something for one of the lawyers in the firm, he gives me money from his professional fee🙂↔️
On 12th June 2026, the High Court Civil Division delivered a landmark judgement that categorically advanced and reinforced students’ rights.
I thank God, for granting this overwhelming victory. To my family and friends who stood by me throughout this journey, thank you for your unwavering support.
My deepest gratitude to my lawyers at @KAAdvocates where you can truly consider it solved. @elisonk and @FERDINANDIUS your knowledge and articulation of the law is unmatched.
Thank you to my UCU alumnus @TumukundeTT for your support and encouragement.
This is not my victory alone. I share it with all the students that have been unfairly treated by the administrators entrusted to help them. I share it with those who have endured the painful battle of missing marks, credit transfer disputes and unfair grading.
I conclude with the following message:
Whatever unimaginable odds you find yourself facing, remember: if God is for you, who can be against.

June is Men’s Mental Health Month.
Check on a man today. Show up for them.
Ask them ‘how are you, really?’
‘On a scale of 1-10, how are you?’
For the men out there, I hope someone shows up for you, recognizes your struggles, and appreciates you.
🕕At 40, life stops being gentle.
Here's what nobody tells you:
1. Stay silent. Not everything needs to be said. Words lose power when wasted. Peace is chosen — not explained.
2. If someone's smarter than you, work with them. Competition is ego. Cooperation is intelligence.
3. The family you build matters more than the one you came from. Build forward.
4. Your job doesn't love you. It pays you to survive — not to dream. Never confuse income with purpose.
5. Free yourself from society's advice. Most people are lost — following the lost.
6. One real friend who celebrates your wins beats a room full of jealous acquaintances.
7. Blaming your parents keeps you weak. Taking responsibility sets you free.
8. Stop waiting for the right time. Waiting is how dreams die quietly.
9. No one is coming to save you. Your life is entirely your responsibility.
10. Your circle should talk about growth, money, discipline, and building. Everything else is noise.
11. You don't need another self-help book. You need action. You need discipline.
Adulthood begins the moment you stop expecting rescue — and start building. Silently. Patiently. Relentlessly.
