.@CERN has started the complex cooldown of a test stand that reproduces the configuration of innovative technology for the Large Hadron Collider’s high-luminosity upgrade. Fermilab developed and shipped five cryoassemblies containing niobium-tin magnets for use in the HiLumi LHC.
Anadi Canepa, a senior scientist at Fermilab, has begun work as the new spokesperson of the @CMSExperiment. Canepa brings a wealth of scientific leadership experience to the role as the collaboration prepares for the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider.
