I used to make videos, and write, I used to do a lot of stuff, hopefully I'll come back to it one day.
Shira Oka's last fan. I try to draw, I suck though.
I've been informed there is a new rock by the water unfortunately I was too busy being a winner to notice so I might have to finish the entire game normally now
@R1ver09 Ultimately, I don't really want to do a 'this would be fixed if they just did X or Y'. Because I think the creator has already improved miles in the storytelling and pacing as they were making the series.
I just want to remind people the final product is an hours long, almost indistinguishable visually from deltarune video, including combat, and all the cutscenes and everything else. This is BEYOND unhinged. Please learn to mod the game please god.
@J_D_N_V_G To add on to this, I also know that when making any kind of art, the 'repetitive' process can be meditative and enjoyable to some, in a way that figuring out new solutions might not be. In the same way that say, drawing a repetitive carpet pattern might be.
@J_D_N_V_G Obviously my comment is a bit tongue and cheek. I kind of understand why someone would stick with what they're good at and know, rather than learn a brand new skill they are unfamiliar with, even if it would be more 'efficient'. I do think the ideal would be something inbetween.
Finally beat white knuckle's campaign (thus far) and I'm a big fan of how the game realizes there's genuinely no platforming challenge that will realistically stop you at this point without being unfair so they hand you a gun and send 5 billion crabs at you instead.
trying to learn shaders makes me convinced no one actually knows how they work they just put in random numbers and pray it does what it wants. Why the fuck does every shader code I see use one letter variables this isn't a fucking math textbook how am I supposed to read this shit
Kind of pisses me off how much of making a game feel good isn't even mechanics it's just visually conveying information in a pleasant way. Yet if I do too much it becomes visually distracting, if not outright condescending. There's gotta be a balance somewhere.
I love this MC, petty bully faces nuclear trauma bomb that couldn't give less of a shit about her social status. Interesting stakes that don't feel superficial, and despite how unhinged she can be, she never feels unsympathetic.
the thing that i love the most about sarang here is that she's genuinely scary as hell. in the thrillers ive read recently, oftentimes, the normal protagonists are uncovering and experiencing thrilling things. this girl is just odd and i cant wait to see how the story unfolds
Whatever I'm taking the bait because I think it's actually interesting. I say that as someone who didn't watch any of these shows (only read the dandandan manga) and only know things of them via cultural osmosis, none of these characters look alike, at all.
I hate ishmael, but also not really in a 'I think her character sucks' way, I just think she comes off as an asshole most of the time, and honestly that's kind of fine? It makes sense with the character, and her treatment of heathcliff is mean, but not on purpose.
during Ruina using her trauma as a shield to justify abusive and cruel behavior. She only starts to change when each of her flaws are pointed out to her one by one, until she's forced to confront the fact that , *no* her suffering did NOT justify a lot of her selfish actions.
I had a lot of things to say but I'll just QRT this since it shares a lot of my feelings. Angela is a very flawed but still well written character. I dislike people chalking hate on her as misogyny (although it can be the case sometimes.) Instead of a lot of angela's behavior-
