Beatles 35mm Negative Donated
At the British Film Collectors’ Convention, on Saturday 30th May, John Franklin of Film is Fabulous was presented with a 35mm BBC negative of The Beatles, recorded on the 19th March 1964, in the original BBC film can.

Drew is famous for scoring Third Lanark’s last ever goal. He also went on to play for Toronto Blizzard, Morton and Queen of the South where he was player/manager. Drew was landlord of the Waverley Bar in Dumbarton for many years. He sadly passed away in 2022 aged 74.
